Acquisition of Tape Industrial Sales, Inc.,
enhances industrial finishing and sealant/adhesive capabilities

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Oct. 2, 2018 — Ohio Transmission Corporation, an industrial equipment service provider and distributor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, announces the acquisition of Tape Industrial Sales, Inc. The Louisville, Ky.- based company specializes in industrial finishing and sealant/adhesive applications.

Founded in 1975, Tape Industrial Sales, Inc., represents leading product lines in the fluid management industry. One of only three Graco-certified sealant and adhesive division technology centers, the company specializes in supplying the industry with paint, powder and sealant and adhesive application; and fluid management equipment, including fluid pumping, transferring, dispensing, metering and spraying equipment for paints, resins, adhesives, sealants, solvents, lubricants, inks, chemicals, foods and sanitary products. Tape Industrial Sales, Inc.’s corporate offices include a sealant/adhesive demonstration lab, warehouse parts department and complete repair service facility. The company serves customers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Tape Industrial Sales, Inc., will continue to operate under the same name and with current local management, including Ryan Tape, CEO, who will remain in a consulting role, and Ralph Ciolek, president, who will lead the team.

Crimson Electric, electrical apparatus services and sales company, enhances electric motor repair product portfolio

COLUMBUS, Ohio — June 6, 2018 — Ohio Transmission Corporation, an industrial equipment service provider and distributor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, announces the acquisition of Crimson Electric, Inc., a company located in South Carolina.

Founded in 1954, Crimson Electric is one of the leading electrical apparatus service centers in the Carolinas. The company specializes in the repair and testing of AC/DC motors, servo motors, pumps and gear reducers. Headquartered in Duncan, S.C., between Greenville and Spartanburg, the company’s facility includes state-of-the-art equipment for the comprehensive repair, engineering and testing of equipment.
