Non-rotating Double Power Cylinder

SMC Pneumatics has released a Dual (push) Force, Non-Rotating Cylinder, which employs a large bore tube rod up to 80% of the cylinder's external square dimension + slide bearing. In addition a built-in non-rotation mechanism using sliding keys allows direct mounting of loads. A unique construction doubles the pressurized area for extension. An ideal solution for lifting and pressing operations. Positioning holes are provided on the work piece mounting surface for easy alignment.

The MGZ Series is currently offered in three bore sizes offering effective push piston areas as follows: (Bore/Area) 40mm/3.9 in², 50mm/6.0in² & 63mm/9.2in². (Maximum Operating Pressure 145 PSI)

The Cylinder is compact offering high strength & space savings.
The moment resistance is equal to a guide cylinder (cylinder + 2 guide shafts).
Furthermore the mounting cross section is reduced by approximately 40%.

8 Standard Stroke Lengths: 75mm, 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 175mm, 200mm, 250mm, and 300mm.

9 Optional Long Stroke Lengths: 350mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm, 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 900mm, and 1000mm.

The actuator is switch ready and AC and DC switches are offered for IC circuit or Relay/PLC circuits.
