ADVANCE AUTOMATION COMPANY
HISTORY
Since it's inception in 1960, Advance
Automation Company played an integral role in setting standards for today's aluminum
cylinder industry. The founder co-innovated the first aluminum body cylinder as a
lightweight and cost effective alternative to the steel body cylinders on the market at
the time. The first product the company developed and manufactured was the Series B &
J OEM economy cylinder. These cylinders provided OEM's with millions of trouble free
cycles at the best value possible.
In keeping with the company's reputation as an
industry pioneer, Advance Automation originated the reed limit switch. Today the Advance
product line includes an NFPA cylinder, a space saving round body cylinder, an actuator
positioning device, an air/oil tank, a hall effect switch, and various accessories. These
products are meeting a wide variety of fluid power applications, such as packaging,
material handling, and agricultural.
Advance Automation Company adheres to high
standards in product quality as well as service. An inspector tests each completed
cylinder before it leaves the facility. These exacting standards are the reason that the
Advance Cylinder return rate is so minimal. As other manufacturers have attempted to
"be all things to all people" Advance has remained focused on their core
business: Providing the best air cylinder available to solve our customers' fluid power
problems.
